About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Surrey MASH. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and families, providing expert guidance, conducting assessments, and collaborating with partner agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a team of Senior Practitioners and Triage Officers, offering guidance, support, and supervision to enhance service delivery within the MASH.
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families, analyzing information to determine risk levels and appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to gather and share information, ensuring a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Make informed decisions regarding immediate protection and intervention, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children.
- Provide expert advice on complex cases, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and best practice.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and case progress, in compliance with data protection policies.
- Support the development of policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the MASH team.
Requirements:
- Recognized social work qualification and registration with relevant professional body.
- Extensive experience in children's services, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
- Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding.
