Job Description

Quant Capital is seeking a highly skilled Junior Linux Sys Admin to join our team. As a Junior Linux Sys Admin, you will be responsible for providing high-level functional and technical support for our company's products directly to our customer base.

You will work closely with our sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless support and resolution of server issues and network connectivity. Your primary responsibility will be to respond promptly to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients, analyze server failures, and implement solutions to prevent future issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level functional and technical support for our company's products
  • Respond promptly to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
  • Analyze server failures and implement solutions to prevent future issues
  • Automate server deployment
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure

Requirements:

  • STEM Degree
  • 2+ years' experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
  • Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
  • AWS
  • Ansible
  • Hardware experience including setup and maintenance
  • Some networking experience
  • Virtualisation
