Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

RSE is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our Asset Management and Technical Services team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

Role Overview

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Developing commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Monitoring standards to ensure specification compliance and maintaining quality standards strictly.
  • Attending FAT activities and providing constructive input on system controls.
  • Carrying out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation, and Control Systems, including MCCs and associated field equipment.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Maintaining accurate records of commissioning activities and results.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to commissioning processes and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An electrical/instrumentation HND/HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven mechanical & electrical experience with full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing).
  • Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and PTW systems.
  • Experience of iMCCs, including VSDs, Softstarts, and Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature instrumentation.
  • Flexibility for location of work and out-of-hours working as required by the Company.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary and Benefits
