Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ESG Sustainability Reporting Lead to join The Very Group. This role is responsible for the accurate and complete reporting of environmental, social, and governance matters for Very Ireland.

About the Role

The ESG Sustainability Reporting Lead will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and maintaining alignment with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Key responsibilities include designing and implementing CSRD reporting requirements, gathering and analyzing data related to ESG metrics, and supporting annual audits to ensure robust and accurate reporting.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in ESG reporting, sustainability, risk management, auditing, or corporate governance.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, particularly with the CSRD and ESRS.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess and interpret ESG data and metrics.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee the implementation of ESG reporting processes.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate ESG risks and develop strategies to enhance sustainability reporting performance.
