GCMS Analyst / Analytical Chemist Job Opportunity

Science Solutions Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled GCMS Analyst / Analytical Chemist to join our team at a global perfume and fragrance manufacturer. This company is renowned for creating high-quality fragrance compounds, aromas, and perfumes for various industries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples for GCMS analysis to identify and quantify fragrance materials.
• Analyze fragrance samples to identify specific oils present and create fragrance formulas.
• Maintain GCMS systems and update essential oil spreadsheets to aid in oil data interpretation.

Requirements:

• Experience with GCMS systems and equipment.
• GCMS data analysis skills, particularly for fragrance ingredients and essential oil data interpretation.
• Degree in Analytical Chemistry, with a focus on Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry.
• Knowledge of essential oils and related components is highly desirable.
