Job Title: Content Editor - Lifestyle and Features
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to join our team at Reach plc. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging content for our lifestyle and features sections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and edit high-quality content that targets our audience
- Liaise with PRs to source exclusive opportunities
- Curate high-traffic driving ideas to pitch to the Head of Features
- Source content on current social media platforms and stay up-to-date with new trends
- Forward plan for events and holidays that appeal to our digital readers
- Manage the Features Audience budgets and workflow
- Support writers in developing their skills to work across both print and digital
Requirements:
- Exceptional qualified journalist with NCTJ and editor experience
- Proven track record of writing and editing social and viral content in a fast-paced national newsroom environment
- Superb planning and organisation skills
- Ability to manage a busy team and ensure work is fairly distributed
- Expert knowledge of social media and regular user of mainstream platforms
