About the Opportunity:

BettingJobs is collaborating with a sports analytics company based in London, seeking a Data Scientist to improve their predictive capabilities.

The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing the company's modelling approaches, identifying areas for improvement and developing practical solutions.

This role offers a flexible working arrangement, allowing for remote work one day a week and accommodating varying daily schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and develop new modelling techniques to improve prediction accuracy.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into production.
  3. Communicate complex statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Maintain expertise in SQL, relational databases, and Python programming.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different audiences.
  • Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and Python programming.

Salary Range: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
