About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Solicitor to join our team at Sedgwick. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for managing a litigated file load of varying claim types and value, ensuring that your client's needs are fully considered and advised on at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a litigated file load of varying claim types and value
  • Assist the Partners with complex litigated caseloads
  • Develop client relationships both within and outside of Sedgwick
  • Be a role model and example of excellence in both litigation and personal development to the wider teams
  • Supervise paralegals and other junior staff
  • Market the firm to Sedgwick's broader client base
  • Provide and update knowledge management and training to Sedgwick and its broader client base
  • Meet and exceed financial and other metrics

Requirements:

  • Recognised as a qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEx, or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience as a solicitor, legal executive or equivalent
  • Experience of litigation is essential
  • Experience of insurance litigation or property damage claims is desirable
