Job Description:

  • Salary Range: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced English Teacher to join our team at Austin Fraser. As a highly motivated and qualified educator, you will be responsible for teaching English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Main Duties:
  • Deliver high-quality English instruction to students, catering to varying abilities and needs.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the English department's curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives focused on enhancing student outcomes and academic achievement.
Essential Requirements:
  • Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience teaching English across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • A degree in English or a related field is required.
  • A strong passion for teaching and commitment to providing high-quality education.
