Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coding Officer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our coding team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely translation of medical terminology, contributing to the provision of high-quality clinical coding services.
Main Responsibilities:- Utilize ICD10 and OPCS4 classifications to code medical data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and contribute to the development of effective working relationships.
- Support the validation and data quality improvement work, act as a mentor, and deal with complex coding queries.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical coding experience at NHS Foundation level, with a strong understanding of medical terminology, human anatomy, and coding procedures.
- Proficiency in digital systems and a thorough understanding of national clinical coding standards and conventions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
