We are seeking a highly skilled School Business Manager to join our team at Futures Manufacturing.

Day Rate: £200

This is an exciting long-term interim role with the potential to go permanent and a negotiable day rate.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation of the business functions, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance, and administration.
  • Line-manage site and administration support staff, including carrying out long-term resource planning and managing the end-to-end recruitment process, appraisal, and professional development.
  • Maintain staff absence data.
  • Manage the school's compliance with health and safety regulations and put in place processes and procedures to ensure the safety of the school.
  • Manage the school's compliance with statutory obligations and advise others on the relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
  • Track all school policies and ensure they are updated in accordance with the policy review schedule.
  • Provide administrative support for the headteacher and the governing body.

You will need:

  • Successful leadership and management experience in a school, or in a relevant field outside of education.
  • To be an effective line manager, using existing experience and effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive and effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Experience in using financial and administrative software.
  • To be committed to safeguarding, confidentiality and equality.
  • Strive to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, loyalty and fairness to safeguard the assets, financial probity and reputation of the School.
