Job Title: Waste Collection Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Carbon60 is seeking a highly skilled Waste Collection Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the refuse and recycling collections teams, as well as the street cleansing service operators. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all services delivered by the contract operate in line with company policies, procedures, compliance, and legislation requirements, while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the refuse and recycling collections teams, circa 100 direct reports, in a cost-effective manner.
Ensure that all services delivered by the contract operate in line with company policies, procedures, compliance, and legislation requirements.
Manage the fleet and drivers to ensure legal compliance and reduce damage and defects.
Responsible for ensuring that your business unit/depot are legally and environmentally compliant at all times.
Compile weekly and monthly statistical reports for the Contract Manager and Corporate Services, including attendance and missed collections.
Support the Contract Manager in delivering budgeted profit, operational excellence, and safety measures for your individual business unit/depot.
Work in partnership with the client to resolve all contractual issues and ensure that the company brand is maximised and protected in the public domain.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in waste or transport environment - essential.
CPC in Road Haulage & a valid UK driving licence - essential.
Experience within municipal waste services.
Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
