As a Senior Support Worker with the CareTech Group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and education to young people with complex needs.

Our team is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to lead shifts, deputise for the Registered Manager, and ensure that our team of Residential Care Workers are up to date with all mandatory learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager
  • Ensuring that our team of Residential Care Workers are up to date with all mandatory learning
  • Communicating with the on-site team and raising awareness with regards to individual care plans and their implementation
  • Maintaining accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets and files
  • Contributing to team and staff meetings to facilitate good communication and staff development
  • Providing support and care to the young people within our services
  • Encouraging our young people in their preparation to re-enter education or to engage in their current schooling
  • Traveling with our young people to and from School or College
  • Preparing food at meal times and maintaining the home to ensure a wonderful environment for the young people in our care
  • Organising and facilitating social activities
