Job Description

Credit Portfolio Officer - Institutional Credit Management (ICM)

Citi is seeking a skilled Credit Portfolio Officer to join our Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing credit risk and ensuring the firm's reputation and assets are safeguarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement portfolio risk assessment frameworks, evaluating credit and financial performance across various lending products and industry segments.
  • Understand and apply applicable credit policies, industry regulations, and governance requirements to inform business decisions.
  • Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships, networking with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare risk management presentations for senior management, including analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity.
  • Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy, operating with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications
  • Experience in wholesale risk management or equivalent training and experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize.
  • Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
