R&D Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to join our R&D team and contribute to novel and sustainable herbicide discovery. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced weed scientist with herbicides expertise to contribute significantly to trialing and demonstrating efficacy of new herbicide modes of action.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, horticulture, weed or plant science, with experience in weed resistance trials and research. Additionally, they should possess a high level of knowledge in herbicide chemistry and principles, as well as the ability to manage trials and supervise more junior staff members.

This position requires a PhD or MSc (or equivalent) degree in a relevant field, with significant experience in weed treatment and herbicides. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their general experience level and gravitas to lead trials, research efforts, and more junior staff members. They will also need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
