We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our aviation industry client based in Hayes, West London. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for the detailed inspection of aircraft components using the latest criteria and inspection equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Undertake and complete a detailed inspection of all components, excluding those requiring quarantine due to incident or accident.
- Create and modify component overhaul/repair routes within SAP as required.
- Participate in daily departmental dialog meetings.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policy, and codes of practice related to Health and Safety at work.
- Work within company policies, procedures, and agreements.
- Aerospace apprenticeship desirable.
- Previous mechanical component inspection experience.
- Experience working within an SAP computer system advantageous.
- Good knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment.
- Practical experience using imperial measurement tools.
- Knowledge of manuals and Boeing websites.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attitude to workshop housekeeping.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
