Description:

Company Overview: Teaching Personnel is a leading provider of education recruitment services. We are seeking an experienced Behavioural Support Mentor to join our team and support children with challenging behaviours in Alternative Provisions across Preston and Blackpool.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Supervise Pupils: You will be responsible for supervising pupils throughout the school day, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Encourage Learning: Your duties will include encouraging pupils to engage with their education, building rapport with them, and helping them understand the importance of their education.
  • Role Model: As a Behavioural Mentor, you will serve as a positive role model for the pupils, demonstrating resilience and strong interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience Working with Challenging Behaviours: We are looking for candidates with previous experience supporting children or adults who display challenging behaviours, whether in a residential or educational setting.

Benefits:

  • Full-time Role: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with an ASAP start.
  • Temporary Contract: This is a temporary contract, with the possibility of going permanent at a later date.
  • Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes 7% statutory holiday pay.
