SHIFT PATTERN: Rotating Shifts (Night and Day)

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Purpose: As a member of the PRM Airside Driver Team at ABM, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs) between aircraft and terminal buildings using specialized vehicles, including minibuses and ambilifts. You will also assist PRMs with boarding and disembarking from aircraft, utilizing manual handling techniques and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure operational reliability and report any defects in accordance with established procedures.

• Safely operate company vehicles, maintaining a secure environment at all times.

• Utilize safety systems and operate vehicles in close proximity to aircraft.

• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.

• Assist PRMs with transfers between aircraft and terminal buildings, utilizing safe manual handling techniques.

• Complete Customer Care Agent (CCA) duties within the terminal, including escorting passengers and assisting with boarding and disembarking flights.

• Update the Allocator on job progress using PDA's and Radio.

• Adhere to Manchester airport airside driving requirements.

• Promote a safe and secure environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Possess a full clean UK driving license with D1.

• Experience in a similar role or driving larger vehicles is advantageous.
