Highly Skilled Project Coordinator for Complex Engineering Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at GRAHAM ASSET MANAGEMENT LIMITED. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and managing complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.

Job Description:

Project Manager Role Summary

The Project Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are effectively planned, monitored and controlled. This includes reviewing incoming projects, allocating internal staff resources, identifying and interpreting project design criteria, engaging specialist sub-contractors and personnel, forming the main point of contact between the Client, Stakeholders and Graham team, and ensuring adherence to site-specific protocol and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage more complex and specialist projects
  • Review incoming projects and allocate necessary internal staff resource
  • Identify and interpret project design criteria and engage specialist sub-contractors and personnel
  • Form main point of contact between Client, Stakeholders and Graham team
  • Engage sub-contractors and support Commercial team in surveying sites prior to construction
  • Ensure all aspects of project are effectively planned, monitored and controlled
  • Deliver project within programme and budget
  • Provide support and guidance to Project Managers and delivery team
  • Ensure all Company Procedures are being complied with
  • Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Procedures are followed
  • Be responsible for achieving high standards of quality and workmanship on site
  • Manage and monitor sub-contractors
  • Schedule and chair regular progress meetings and compile progress reports for presentation to the Client
  • Schedule and chair regular sub-contractor meetings as required
  • Compile and distribute project meeting minutes
  • Attend and provide input on regular contract meetings with the Client
  • Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate
  • Positively promote company wherever and whenever possible
  • Compile and submit O&M manuals upon project completion

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a Project Management role, strong communication and management skills, experience of MEP systems, and experience in the delivery of commercial projects up to a value of £1mil. You will also need to have the ability to manage and deliver numerous concurrent projects of varying financial values and scope, plan and programme projects using MS Project, excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office), and excellent presentation skills.

Estimated Salary Range: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
