Transport Safety Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Health and Safety Manager to oversee health and safety functions within our Transport department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in H&S management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing health and safety functions, including supervision of staff and development of effective health and safety strategies.
- Leading collaborative health and safety projects and providing authoritative advice on health and safety matters.
- Ensuring a safe working environment for employees and visitors, and complying with legal requirements.
- Continuously improving health and safety arrangements through regular audits and reviews.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of autonomy and decision-making.
What You Will Bring:We are looking for a candidate with:
- A NEBOSH certificate level or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant H&S management experience, preferably in a retail/supply chain warehouse environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
The salary for this role is £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
