  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Barrow in Furness. This is a contract role with expected full-time hours.

About the Role

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a structural engineer to work on complex structures, collaborating with architects and other engineers to ensure structural integrity and safety.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and analysing structural systems, developing detailed drawings and specifications.
  • You will be responsible for conducting site visits and inspections, managing projects from concept through to completion, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and analysis of specialist structures.
  • Strong proficiency in structural design software and analysis tools.
  • Excellent understanding of relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Effective communication and project management skills.
