We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Compliance and Verification Engineer to join our client's team in Chelmsford. As a world leader in the scientific and satellite / space industries, our client is committed to developing innovative products that push the boundaries of technology.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the creation of embedded software and FPGA development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement software verification plans and quality assurance procedures to ensure the highest level of reliability and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver testing and verification of FPGA and software development.
- Ensure that all documentation, software, and FPGA code meets industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-reliability coding standards, including knowledge of Space, Aerospace, or Defence development standards.
- Experience in ensuring compliance across the software development life cycle.
- Experience in verifying high-reliability software.
- Ability to develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience with version control and issue tracking software, including programming in C and embedded bare-metal.
- Experience in developing automated test scripts, ideally with Python.
