We are seeking a dedicated and organized Pediatric Clinic Assistant to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Children's Community Nursing Service, you will play a vital role in supporting pediatric clinics across three sites.

Job Responsibilities
  • To work as a member of the Children's Community Nursing Service to support pediatric clinics.
  • Under the supervision and direction of the Children's Community Nurses, you will provide a welcoming and well-organized outpatient clinic environment and support medical colleagues in delivering high-quality outpatient services.
  • You will communicate with children, their parents, carers, and others in clinics to ensure delivery of child-focused and family-centered care.

In this role, you will also be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, including recording clinical information on SystmOne and Mediviewer. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team will be essential in providing high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Completion of a competency-based programme or equivalent relevant experience
  • Level 3 qualification in a healthcare-related subject or a portfolio of equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Previous care experience in a health or social care setting

We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
