Job Purpose

As the Social Media Communications Specialist at AllBright, you'll drive our organic social media strategy to acquire, engage, and retain professional women, enhancing AllBright's position as an industry leader.

You will manage and optimise cross-platform strategies, develop clear approaches for each platform that align with product messaging and brand goals, collaborate on compelling content creation, and ensure our social media channels maintain a clear, purpose-driven tone and output.

Your role includes tracking performance metrics, analysing data, and reporting insights to refine and improve our digital presence from both a B2C and B2B perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Senior Marketing Lead and Content team, create and deliver AllBright's organic social media strategy. Manage content development, scheduling, and execution across platforms, ensuring alignment with broader brand objectives and maintaining brand tone.
  • Plan, create, and execute campaigns across social platforms. Develop relevant brand narratives tailored to AllBright's target audiences on each platform.
  • Work with the Content team to deliver B2B and B2C content strategies, supporting lead generation and awareness for members and clients.
  • Develop and execute clear content strategies for each social media platform, ensuring alignment with product messaging and brand goals.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts. Create engaging, visually appealing multimedia content and foster an active online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to enhance engagement.
  • Track and analyse KPIs for social media activity.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance, audience insights, content effectiveness, and community engagement.
  • Utilise data to optimise campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on digital and social media trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Explore and develop expansion plans for new social media platforms, while researching and implementing innovative strategies to enhance digital activity and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with the Paid Media Manager to develop and manage compelling campaigns, ensuring effective ad creative aligns with organic brand positioning.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and thought leaders who align with AllBright's brand values.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage 1 direct report, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that supports professional growth and high performance.

General Responsibilities:

  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably directed by management.
  • Adhere to company practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure good communication with all colleagues, ELT, and SLT.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Social Media Manager or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and tools, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.
  • Experience in developing platform-specific content strategies aligned with product messaging and brand goals.
  • Both B2B and B2C experience is vital, with a background in Learning & Development and/or Events being desirable.
  • Proficiency in social scheduling tools (e.g. Later, Sprout) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Excellent creative and visual storytelling skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for staying current on digital and social media trends.
  • Experience managing a direct report is desirable.
