This role offers a competitive salary range from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will drive technology integration into teaching and learning practices, ensuring all members of the community possess the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age.
The primary goal is to facilitate authentic student learning opportunities aligned with ACS's vision, values, and ISTE standards.
- Lead technology innovation and implementation across the school, inspiring the next generation of global thinkers and doers.
- Foster collaborative environments where teachers and students can work together to develop effective technology-infused lessons.
- Design and deliver comprehensive technology training programs for teachers and support staff, addressing their needs at different levels.
- Support teachers in developing technology-infused lesson plans, ensuring seamless classroom implementation.
- Offer guidance on using divisional management information systems, virtual learning environments, and applications employed by faculty, students, and parents.
- Evaluate, select, and implement instructional technology materials and software, collaborating with relevant staff.
- Collaborate with instructional and technical staff to enhance the use of software and digital resources, supporting quality teaching and learning, and facilitating school and technology initiatives.
- Gather and disseminate information related to instructional technology, ensuring timely communication.
- Organise school technology orientation and coordinate with parents, new students, and staff.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise and contribute to the growth of the team.
- Attend workshops and meetings required by the Principal for Digital Teaching and Learning Development.
- Perform other duties assigned by the divisional principals and the Principal for Digital Teaching and Learning Development.
