Job Summary

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with stakeholders and departments throughout the business, ensuring Procurement supports their purchasing, supplier management, negotiation, and supplier risk management needs. You will also support the success of ongoing procurement projects, maintain the procurement hub and associated documents, and work closely with the wider finance team on spending and transaction analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and departments throughout the business, ensuring Procurement supports their purchasing, supplier management, negotiation, and supplier risk management needs.
  • Support the success of ongoing procurement projects, including Request for Proposal preparation, tender review, contract review, supplier vetting, and sustainability review.
  • Maintain the procurement hub and associated documents, ensuring all contracts are properly reviewed with a procurement lens.
  • Work closely with the wider finance team on spending and transaction analysis, ensuring the business is aware of supplier activity, spend leakage, and non-compliance with policies.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with key suppliers delivering continuous program support – Access, IT and tech providers.
Desirable Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
