Care Assistant Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking kind and caring individuals to join our team of Home Care Assistants at Bluebird Care Islington & Hackney. As a Care Assistant, you will provide a range of care services to enable our customers to remain living independently in their own homes across Islington.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Provide companionship and social interaction
* Prompt and/or administer medication as required
* Support with food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping
* Assist with manual handling and using equipment where necessary
* Promote customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full

**Requirements:**

* A valid right to work in the UK
* A genuine desire to care for others
* Reliability, compassion, honesty, and patience
* Residency in the Islington borough
* Availability to work more than 20 hours per week
* Commitment to working at least 2 evenings per week and 2 weekends per month as part of your regular schedule

**What We Offer:**
