This role involves being responsible for the recruitment, retention, and completion of a standardised caseload of learners who have chosen to enrol on the Dental Nursing qualification.
The Assessor/Dental Nursing Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the delivery of training, assessment, and quality assurance of learners' work.
The role involves meeting with learners and employers within different workplace settings, predominantly remotely but with some travel expected, working independently to ensure compliance with qualification requirements.
The successful candidate will require skills to plan visits in a logical manner, ensuring minimal travelling time while providing resources and support to meet individual learner needs.
As a representative of the Health & Social Care team, the successful candidate will promote the courses offered and encourage recruitment. The ability to teach small group workshop sessions in Dental Nursing would be beneficial.
Pension Provider: Local Government Pension Scheme
Hours of Work: Up to 16 hours per week, with flexibility to agree a work pattern dependent on availability
An additional percentage of 10% will be applied to contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking time.
Vacancy Location: South Wales (to be agreed with the successful applicant)
