Environmental Engagement Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engagement Manager to join our successful Environmental Consents Team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will lead the delivery of environmental engagement programs for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and major Town and Country Planning Act applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, design, delivery, and reporting of environmental engagement programs
  • Provide technical advice to clients on environmental consenting and stakeholder management activities
  • Manage consenting and environmental stakeholder management activities for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and major Town and Country Planning Act applications
  • Organise and deliver environmental stakeholder engagement for individual sites
  • Provide support, advice, and guidance to multi-disciplinary projects across the business where consent is required
Requirements:
  • Experience in the delivery of environmental engagement, preferably for applications under the Planning Act 2008 or large infrastructure related projects
  • Strong experience in a consultancy environment with a track record in the development, design, delivery, and reporting of engagement programs
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills (public speaking experience an advantage)
  • Ability to travel to site and/or client offices as required
