We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Professional to join our Real Estate division in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering construction and manufacturing schemes while assisting in the building of a team in our fastest growing sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Enterprise Risk Management and construction, with experience working on Real Estate or Infrastructure projects. A degree qualification in a relevant discipline is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and implement risk management processes tailored to client needs and best practice.
- Articulate and embed the benefits of risk management in corporate culture.
- Lead risk activities to actively manage risk and seek efficiencies across client projects and programmes.
- Facilitate risk workshops with clients and team members.
- Train clients and the internal organisation on risk management processes and practices.
- Produce risk reports to support effective communication of threat and opportunity status.
- Drive the need and implementation of mitigation actions against associated risks.
- Assist with the identification and development of management responses and assess post-mitigated positions.
- Develop and drive efficient risk contingency processes.
- Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling.
- Build and lead a team of risk specialists.
- Conduct quantitative risk assessment to inform project contingency levels.
Qualifications:
- Experience working on Real Estate or Infrastructure projects.
- Preferably with a track record of working on Data Centre's, Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D facilities, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics projects.
- Subject matter expert with a good theoretical foundation of Enterprise Risk Management and construction.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
