Indirect Procurement Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Coordinator to join our team in York. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and an early finish on Fridays.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the procurement of indirect materials and services across various business units and locations.
* Manage the receipt of purchase requisitions from multiple production facilities.
* Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and place orders in accordance with agreed pricing and supply arrangements.
* Verify invoices to ensure timely payment and delivery.
* Maintain accurate records within our systems.
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sectors. A deep understanding of Supply Chain management and contemporary procurement practices is necessary, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are vital for success in this role.
Salary and Benefits:
This role provides a competitive salary up to £30,000 and a full-time contract working standard hours with flexibility on Fridays.
