Powder Coating Technician

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Technician to join our production team at H. & C. Merchandising Equipment Limited in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing parts for powder coating, cleaning and masking, and ensuring a smooth production process.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in powder coating or metal pre-treatment, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. They will also possess good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the day.

• Preparation and Cleaning: Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging on racks.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading parts from the coating booths or oven.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tools and equipment.
• Supply Management: Monitor and maintain supplies such as masking materials, cleaning agents, and other necessary items.
• Safety Protocols: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Quality Control: Help inspect coated parts for quality and assist in reworking any defective items.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive excellent benefits, including comprehensive training and opportunities for career growth.
