About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Smart Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Smart Energy and Sustainability Division, you will play a crucial role in shaping the approach that organisations are taking to decarbonisation and a net-zero future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of key projects, with support from senior team members.
  • Review project details and develop appropriate sustainability targets.
  • Communicate sustainability requirements to internal and external team members.
  • Prepare reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
  • Manage own workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Review the performance of designated projects on a monthly basis and update the team's project tracker with progress information.
  • Engage with skills networks to exchange best practice and processes.
  • Arrange meetings, take minutes and distribute actions.
  • Attend and contribute to project team meetings.
  • Complete relevant training to become qualified to deliver carbon consultancy advisory services.
  • Develop commercial awareness by assisting with preparation of proposals/tenders for new work.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higher.
  • Humility, self-motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • An understanding of the construction industry and built environment.
  • Ability to commute to office on regular basis.
