Job Opportunity

We are seeking confident and approachable Security Officers to join our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our venues and events. This position involves managing entry and exit points, conducting ID checks, monitoring the environment, and handling conflicts or disturbances professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Access Control: Ensure only authorized personnel and guests are admitted, maintaining a secure environment.
  • ID Verification: Conduct thorough checks to comply with licensing regulations, preventing unauthorized access.
  • Incident Response: Identify and respond promptly to potential risks or incidents, prioritizing customer safety.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts or disturbances professionally, using de-escalation techniques to resolve issues effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by assisting patrons and addressing queries or concerns.
  • Communication: Liaise with venue management and emergency services when required, ensuring seamless coordination.
Requirements:
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence: Essential for this role, demonstrating your commitment to industry standards.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training can be provided to ensure success.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role, working varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional Approach: A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach is essential for this role.
