Aerospace CNC Miller Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to work nights, operating CNC Turning machines and processes in a safe and efficient manner, especially Mazak.

The ideal candidate will have appreciation of machining process and best practice, as well as experience on Mazak controls. This role involves producing parts in accordance with route cards and technical drawings, ensuring all parts are produced to schedule requirements and quality standards.

This job requires the ability to write programs from scratch, set and operate production machines, equipment and auxiliary equipment (where trained), ensuring setting and run targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Turning machines and processes in a safe and efficient manner
  • Produce parts in accordance with route cards and technical drawings
  • Ensure all parts are produced to schedule requirements and quality standards
  • Write programs from scratch
  • Set and operate production machines, equipment and auxiliary equipment (where trained)

Requirements:

  • Experience on Mazak controls is essential
  • Proven experience working to tight tolerances
  • Ability to write programs from scratch
  • Confidently strip and reset tools and fixtures
