The ideal candidate for this Sales Advisor role will be a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for providing exceptional service to Winemark customers and assisting the Store Manager with sales, security, and stock control.



Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain a professional level of customer service at all times, identifying accurately the needs of internal and external customers and working to exceed their expectations.
  • Assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service, including an up-to-date knowledge of store products on display.
  • Identify selling opportunities and act on these to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Assume responsibility for housekeeping standards both inside and outside the store, adhering to Company standards.
  • Ensure that stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards at all times.
  • Assist with promotional set up and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Comply with Company regulations regarding cash handling and administration.
  • Comply with all health and safety information and ensure compliance with licensing and trading standards legislation.


Requirements


  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Three months previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Customer-focused with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a good team player.
  • Good standard of dress and appearance.


Desirable Skills


  • Interest and/or knowledge of wine.
  • Previous experience of cash handling.
  • Previous experience of stock handling and control.
