Role Overview

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Lead in Adult Psychiatry to join our team. As a key member of our psychiatric services, you will be responsible for providing expert care and guidance to patients, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our mental health strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Lead and manage a team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and strategies

Requirements

  • Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register
  • License to Practice
  • Experience in adult psychiatry, with a strong focus on clinical leadership and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
