About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician with experience working with children and young people to join our Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. The community CAMHS Team is a multidisciplinary team of approximately 40 members of staff who provide services to children and young people experiencing emotional health and wellbeing difficulties.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver brief therapeutic interventions for children and young people who have experienced mental health crisis.
- Assess, devise, plan, and instigate appropriate treatment plans that are evidence-based.
- Liaise with other agencies in planning and assessing programmes of care.
- Carry out assessments of children and families who have been referred to Crisis and Community CAMHS.
- Promote a service that is safe, respects the views of the patient/client, and actively promotes choice, engagement, and involvement.
