As a geotechnical engineer, you will be given the opportunity to specialise within your chosen discipline of engineering and work on high-profile projects such as High Speed 2, London Bridge Station, and Lower Thames Crossing.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of foundation, retaining wall, ground improvement, and earthworks designs, as well as undertaking desk studies, specifying and scoping intrusive ground investigations, producing interpretive reports, geotechnical designs, and recommendations for geotechnical design solutions.

Our team uses innovative digital tools for producing accurate ground models and for analysis of geotechnical problems and design development.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Graduating in or having recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrating typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders
  • Will to travel and stay away from home when required
