Facilities Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at New Barn School. As a crucial member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the functionality, cleanliness, and safety of our school campus.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairing tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the school, including performing regular cleaning duties.
- Assist with grounds keeping and maintaining outdoor recreational areas and equipment.
- Support safety protocols and procedures, including conducting safety inspections and reporting any hazards or concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to facilitate the smooth operation of the school environment.
- Full UK driver's licence.
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills.
- Any additional qualifications pertinent to the job role.
New Barn School offers a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to pupils, aged 6 – 19 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health complexities.
