Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at City & County Healthcare Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients in their homes and in the community
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Support clients with medication management and peg feeding
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care and support

Requirements:
  • Experience in healthcare, preferably in a care assistant or support worker role
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Punjabi or Urdu
  • Basic knowledge of moving and handling equipment and techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
