Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years professional to join Hedgehog Recruitment as a Room Leader at our well-established children's day nursery and preschool in Henley.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Liaise with parents to ensure effective communication and support
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellence in childcare and education
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of individualized learning plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Salary & Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include opportunities for career progression, professional development, flexible working weeks, and great holiday entitlement.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or related field (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
