Quality Systems Engineer

Magna Exteriors Sunderland is a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic back door modules in Europe. As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing and sustaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with automotive and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include managing document control, supporting quality management and site management objectives, and leading internal auditing across the plant. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of department and individual objectives, and lead the development and embedding of the plant's QMS system and customer requirements. Additionally, you will manage the document control system, support coaching and development activities, and have experience of quality management systems, with creation of procedures and rolling out through business. You will also have a good understanding of automotive requirements (IATF16949) and computer literacy, including MS office applications. If you have previous experience of leading and coaching teams, and experience of working within the automotive sector, you will be well-suited to this role.
