Senior Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery team at Spire Southampton Hospital. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Main Duties- Take charge of shifts, assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Lead the ward in the absence of the Sister, ensuring seamless patient care and team management.
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet patients' needs, promoting best practice and contributing to quality improvements.
- Mentor newly qualified staff and student nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Liaise and network with other departments across the hospital, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
