Job Overview

Home Instead Charnwood is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our clients, enabling them to live their best life in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular and reliable support to clients, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized care plans.
  • Deliver high-quality care, including personal care, companionship, and life enhancement activities.
  • Manage clients' environments, ensuring a safe and clean living space.
  • Administer medication, monitor supplies, and communicate with the office team as needed.
  • Support clients with nutrition, meal planning, and food management, ensuring they receive a balanced and varied diet.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other care professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience in care, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in care management software.
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends and varying shifts.
