We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leadership Specialist to lead our Child Development and Specialist Play teams within the Children, Young People & Families Service Delivery Unit.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, or physiotherapy, with a proven track record of clinical leadership and quality improvement. They will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, developing and implementing clinical strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Child Development and Specialist Play teams, providing clinical guidance and support to team members
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
- Manage a team of professionals, including line management and performance management
- Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and implement service improvements
- Ensure compliance with trust policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy)
- Professional registration with a relevant professional body
- Minimum 4 years postgraduate experience in a clinical leadership role
- Proven track record of clinical leadership and quality improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
