Job Description
">This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our expanding team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care services, ensuring outstanding quality care and efficient business operations.
">Key responsibilities include:
">- ">
- Coordinating the setup and growth of a high-quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area">
- Networking in the local community to raise awareness of our service">
- Promoting the highest standards of care and service">
- Leading and supporting the care team">
- Converting new client enquiries and coordinating staffing rotas">
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational requirements">
- Ensuring successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clients">
- Continually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure effective and efficient service delivery">
- Managing complaints and incidents, and using findings to initiate improvements">
- Responsibility & ownership of key performance indicators">
- Undertaking monthly audits, including recruitment documentation, accident & incidents, medication & trend analysis">
- Promoting a positive culture aligned with the Home Instead ethos and values">
- Collaborating with the registered manager of our Belfast office to ensure consistency across both offices">
- Participating in the On-Call rota as required">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- Experience in a management role in health and social care">
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team">
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail">
- Ability to work well and accurately under pressure">
- Responsiveness, agility, and calmness when dealing with multiple priorities">
- Flexibility to meet demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota">
- Knowledge of relevant NI legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services">
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems, including Microsoft Office, and experience of large databases and virtual communication platforms">
- A combination of qualification, registration, and experience meeting the Domiciliary Care standards">
Additional Information
">This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. A driving licence is required for this position.
