About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead for Mental Health Services to join our integrated healthcare team in the North West region. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with mental health teams on each site and be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of psychological therapies services.

Location

The sites are based in HMP Preston, HMP Lancaster Farms, and HMP Kirkham, all located near the M6 motorway and accessible via public transport.

Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of mental health services and clinical leadership. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality care to individuals in custody.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To lead a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to deliver psychological therapies services
  • To develop and implement effective clinical governance arrangements
  • To work closely with local authorities and community organizations to promote mental health services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in psychology or a related field
  • Proven experience of leading a team of mental health professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
