Head of Medical Supply Chain Transformation Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Medical Supply Chain Transformation Lead, a key position within our Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the integration of medical delivery aspects across all areas of the supply chain and logistics operation. This will involve acting as the single point of responsibility for delivering medical support across the entire supply chain, interfacing with the Defence Medical Customer at various levels, and providing oversight on performance metrics.
In addition to this, the Head of Medical Supply Chain Transformation Lead will be the key escalation point for all LCST medical escalations and will lead in the resolution, delegation, or escalation of these as appropriate. The successful candidate will also serve as Joint Chair of the Medical Working Group and Sponsor for the Medical Commissioning Process, ensuring alignment with core P3M processes while meeting medical specific commitments.
To be successful in this role, you will require experience operating within defence supply chains, knowledge of the Defence Medical Services Customer, and familiarity with Public Procurement Regulations. A Masters Degree in a related subject, commercial acumen, and P3M Qualification would be highly desirable.
Responsibilities- Lead the integration of medical delivery aspects across the supply chain and logistics operation.
- Act as the single point of responsibility for delivering medical support across the entire supply chain.
- Interface with the Defence Medical Customer at various levels, including weekly meetings at OF5 level.
- Provide oversight on Medical FSA and OTD performance metrics, leading analysis and interventions where necessary.
- Act as the key escalation point for all LCST medical escalations and resolve, delegate, or escalate as appropriate.
- Serve as Joint Chair of the Medical Working Group.
- Act as Sponsor for the Medical Commissioning Process, ensuring alignment with core P3M processes while meeting medical specific commitments.
- Experience operating within defence supply chains.
- Knowledge of the Defence Medical Services Customer.
- Familiarity with Public Procurement Regulations.
- Masters Degree in a related subject.
- Commercial acumen, both in negotiations and contract management.
- P3M Qualification or equivalent experience.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
