About the Role

Fisher Jones Greenwood Solicitors is an award-winning law firm seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our dynamic team in Billericay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake fee-earning work, working independently and as a member of the team.
  • Maintain existing client relationships and develop new ones with third-party referrers.
  • Collaborate with other departments on joint projects and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
  • Comply with the firm's policies and procedures, assisting Partners and fee earners in achieving a smooth output of work.
  • Achieve agreed financial targets, including fee income and chargeable hours.
  • Adhere to all FJG policies, procedures, and requirements, including maintaining the client database and following compliance regulations.
  • Keep legal knowledge up to date and continue personal and professional development.

Requirements

  • Law degree and relevant qualification.
  • 3 years of FE experience in the property sector.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets. Experience of working with case management systems is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • A good level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
